First conference on Stem cell
and Regenerative Medicine at King Saud University

The 1st conference on Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine will be held from Saturday, November 7th, 2009 through Monday, November 9th, 2009 (19-21 of Dhual-Qa dah 1430) in King Khalid University Hospital & King Saud University.
The conference is jointly organized by The Stem Cell Unit in Anatomy Department -College of Medicine, Continuous Medical Education Center of King Khalid University Hospital, Australian National University and University of Southern Denmark.
The program addresses the latest development in research and its therapeutical application with modern technology on Stem Cell Biology. This conference has been organized and led by Dr.Abdhullah Aldahmash, Chairman, Anatomy Department, College of Medicine, King Saud University.
This Conference hopefully will increase the awareness of the Stem Cell Research programs in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and provide platform for further advances in the field within the kingdom.
Especially as many new technical innovations have been introduced in King Saud University and a better regulatory framework is being developed for integrating with international collaboration.
This conference will also discuss the Ethics and related issues on stem cell fields, especially the stem cell treatable diseases which are common in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
At the end of the last day of the conference, there will be discussion and open meeting between national and international speakers with patients and the media.
This conference is accredited by the Saudi Society for Medical Specialties, 18CME Hours.
